Terms of Service
The ground rules for using this site and for working with us.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of https://devlato.in. Any project we take on is governed by a separate written proposal and scope document agreed with you — where that document and these terms differ, the signed proposal wins.
2. Using this website
You may browse and use this site for lawful purposes. Please don’t attempt to disrupt it, scrape it at volume, or submit enquiry forms in an automated or abusive way.
3. Quotes and pricing
This site does not publish prices, and nothing on it is an offer. The price for your project is the one in your written quote, issued after we understand the scope, and it is fixed for the scope it describes. A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and is stated in the currency named in that quote.
4. Scope and changes
Work is delivered against the agreed written scope. Anything outside that scope is a change request: we will tell you the cost and schedule impact before doing it, and proceed only once you approve.
5. Payment
Unless agreed otherwise, projects are invoiced 40% on commencement, 40% at milestone sign-off and 20% on delivery. Larger projects are split across phases. Invoices are due within 7 days. We may pause work on overdue accounts.
6. Your responsibilities
- Providing content, assets and access we need, in reasonable time
- Giving feedback and approvals at the agreed points
- Holding the rights to any content, logos or material you give us
- Paying for third-party costs such as domains, hosting and paid services
Delays in feedback or content move the delivery date by at least the length of the delay.
7. Ownership
On full payment, you own the project source code, the design deliverables and every account we set up on your behalf — including the domain and hosting. We retain the right to reuse our own generic tooling, libraries and know-how, and to display the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.
Third-party components remain under their own licences. Where paid third-party services are needed, those subscriptions are yours.
8. Support after launch
Every project includes 30 days of support after go-live for defects — work that does not behave as the agreed scope says it should. New features, content changes and third-party breakages are outside that and are quoted separately or covered by a support plan.
9. Liability
We take care over our work, but we do not warrant that any software will be entirely free of defects or never interrupted. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability in connection with a project is limited to the fees you paid us for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit or data.
10. Cancellation
Either side may end an engagement in writing. You pay for work completed and costs committed up to that date; we hand over everything produced and paid for.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction over any dispute.
